Ensure that the file is in a compatible format.

The file may be copy-protected and you no longer have authorization to play this file. If you feel this is in error, please contact the service from which you downloaded the file.

The player has malfunctioned.

Try updating the player’s firmware. Please refer to the Firmware Upgrades section of this manual for instructions.
