iPod Dock Operation

Some iPods have a thinner design, and may require changing the rear rubber support at the back of the iPod dock for the best fit.

To change the rear rubber support, pull upward on support to remove it. Then replace the support with the thicker rubber support that is included in the box.

For the 1st generation, 2nd generation and 4th generation iPod Nano devices, the left side iPod dock support can be replaced with a larger rubber support, for the best fit.

To change the left side rubber support, pull outward on the rubber support to remove it. Then replace the support with the larger rubber support that is included in the box.

To dock an iPod, first spread apart the side supports of the iPod dock. Then line up the dock connector and insert the iPod into the dock. Release the side supports to secure the iPod.
