Setting the Language
The default language is English. To change this, press the MENU button > System settings > Languages > then select your language.
·A list of supported languages will appear on the LCD screen. Scroll up or down to choose from the list.
Setting the Time and Date
The time and date can be updated manually or automatically. Setting manually is simpler, but the time and date will be lost when power is off. Setting automatically is a little more complicated at first, but the time and date will be automatically synchronized with external clocks, so it should only need to be done once. As a result, automatic update is generally more accurate.
To enter the Time settings menu, press the MENU button > System settings > Time/date >
Manual Updating: Select “Set Time/Date”, the date and time are displayed as
MMactive (flashing).
·Adjust each value (month, day, year, hour, minute) with the
, and SELECT buttons. As each value is adjusted, the next value becomes active and flashes.
·When you select the final value (minutes or AM/PM, depending on whether the clock is set to 12 or 24 hour mode), the display reverts to the now playing screen and shows the newly updated time.
