Using the On-Screen Function Menu

Adjusting the Brightness Setting in the Function Menu

Your DVD Player features an on-screen Function Menu that allows you to adjust simple settings for Brightness, and enable other functions like LCD MODE. This friendly Function lets you watch DVDs or listen Audio CDs more easily when the Remote Control isn’t nearby.

Press FUNCTION Button

Press Player’s FUNCTION key to enter the on-screen Function Menu. The initial screen contains the following categories:

Move Around the Menu with the ARROW Keys

Use the ARROW and ENTER buttons to move around and select options. In this example, we’ll hit the DOWN key to adjust Brightness, then hit ENTER Button to enter that setting. Now we can use the ENTER key again to adjust the BRIGHTNESS. Press the button repeatedly to cycle through all available BRIGHTNESS levels - 0 to 24.

Press Function key again to Exit the Function Menu

You can exit the Function Menu at any time by simply pressing the Function key.

Quick Tips

￿The Function Menu provides only basic functions. If you want to use all functions, please use the Remote Control.

￿Functions will exit automatically after 10 seconds without touching panel’s Arrow or Enter Buttons.
