Digital Amplifier or Decoder

The audio portion of program discs can be output through the player’s digital signal output port using the digital audio signal cable that is supplied with your player.

Using digital audio signal transmission, you can obtain high- est fidelity of music. Please check whether your amplifier, digital signal decoder or other equipment you intend to con- nect has digital audio signal input port in order to use this feature.

Through digital audio transmission, your digital amplifier or decoder can accept and broadcast (1) Dolby AC-3 surround sound or (2) DTS (Digital Theater System) sound scheme encoded in the disc.

The player must be using AC power (power cord), rather than DC power (batteries), to use the output optical cable
