NOTE

Many of the plain numbered channels, such as 01, 02, and 03, transmit and receive on different frequencies. This is termed duplex operation. The rest of the plain numbered channels and all of the A channels, such as 01A, 03A, and 04A, transmit and receive on a single frequency, which is termed simplex operation. Your radio automatically adjusts to these conditions. When in simplex operation, the A icon will appear on the LCD (see illustration on page A3).

Whether you're planning day trips near the shore or extended voyages further out, this radio ensures you can stay connected with fellow boaters or emergency services when needed.

The device is built with a waterproof rating of IPX7, which means it can withstand being submerged in water for up to 30 minutes. The Cobra MR HH400X VP is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, providing convenience while minimizing the need for disposable batteries. The high-capacity battery ensures extended usage, making it a reliable companion for long boating trips.

In summary, the Cobra Electronics MR HH400X VP is a feature-rich handheld VHF radio that combines power, durability, and advanced technology.
