Used to turn the power on/off (standby) (vpage 28).

wPower indicator

This is lit as follows according to the power status :

Power on: Off

Standby: Red

iPod charge standby : Orange

eUSB port

Used to connect USB storages (such as USB memory devices) and the USB cable supplied with iPod (vpage 22).

rDISC/INPUT button

Used to select the playback media mode (vpage 29).

tDISPLAY OFF indicator
