AC Plug

POWER SUPPLY

AC OPERATION

Connect the smaller end of the AC power cord to the AC socket on the back cabinet. Insert the plug into your 120 volt 60Hz household AC outlet.

BATTERY OPERATION

Disconnect the AC power cord from the AC socket of the unit. Battery power is cut automatically while the cord the is connected.

When the volume decreases, or the sound distorts, replace all of the batteries with new ones.

CAUTION

To prevent electrical shock, match wide blade of plug to wide slot and insert fully.

Battery door

Insert 8 UM-2 ( size C ) batteries.

For private listening

Plug in headphones (ø 3.5 mm stereo mini- plug) to the PHONES jack on back panel. When headphones are plugged in, the speakers are automatically disconnected.

LISTENING TO THE RADIO

1.) Press POWER button to turn power ‘On’ ‘POWER’Indicator lights.

2.) Set to desired Function AM or FM by pressing RADIO button, then BAND button.

3.) Tune in to a station.

Manual Tuning:

Press the or buttons as many times as required until the frequency of the desired station appears on the display.

Automatic Tuning:

SEARCH

TUNING

Hold the or buttons for approximately 2 seconds. The Tuner will begin scanning up or down automatically and will lock onto the next strong signal.
