5. Next, the playlist file will be specified. Make sure to use the leading forward- slash in the path when specifying the full path to the schedule file

<FileName>/playlists/playlist.gpl</FileName>

<FileName>/playlists/playlist.gpl</FileName>

<FileName>playlists/playlist.gpl</FileName>

As mentioned earlier, the playlist.gpl file can be renamed to something more meaningful, if you like. For now, the important thing to note is that both the filename and directory path are spelled correctly.

Let’s look at what we have in our existing schedule.gsh file:

<DefaultEvent> <DayOfWeek>1,1,1,1,1,1,1</DayOfWeek> <EventStart>00:00:00</EventStart> <EventEnd>23:59:59</EventEnd> <FileName>/playlists/playlist.gpl</FileName>

</DefaultEvent>

This is our default event. The schedule.gsh file must contain a default event, using the <DefaultEvent> and </DefaultEvent> tags. See page 29 for more information on the default event

6. We did not make any changes to this file, so just close the file.

Next, we will edit the playlist.gpl file, and substitute the existing media with your own.

NOTE: Refer to the supported file formats and make sure that the media file(s) you are using is supported by the Media Player.
