Video Mixing Renderer (VMR9)

VMR9 is a video technology that may improve video performance on computers that support this feature (typically available on PCs running Microsoft® Win- dows XP or later). The SlingPlayer can use VMR9 only if your computer’s video card and drivers support it. By default, the SlingPlayer attempts to use VMR9.

Check the following requirements to see if your computer supports VMR9 use:

Your computer has DirectX version 9 installed. Search your computer if you are not sure.

Your computer has the latest drivers installed for its video card. Go to the Web site for the video card that is installed on your computer and search for the latest drivers.

Your computer’s video drivers are set to an acceleration level that allows VMR9 use. Click Help for more information.

VMR9 or not

Even if you have attempted all of these remedies, your computer may still not fully support VMR9. This, however, will not adversely affect your Slingbox view- ing experience.

VMR9 is not a required feature to use your Slingbox. The SlingPlayer delivers excellent video quality with or without it.

Original Settings

If you have made any changes to the settings on this screen, selecting this but- ton returns those settings to their defaults.
