PROBLEMS

(SYMPTOMS)

POSSIBLE CAUSES/REMEDIES

6. Contactor “chattering” exists.

a. Contacts and/or core may be dirty.

 

b. Check for loose or faulty connections to the contactor coil.

 

c. Control circuit line voltage may be too low.

1.When checking fuses for continuity, be sure to remove all fuses from clips (in fuse block or disconnect switch). Test each fuse individually, out of circuit.
