OPERATION

TO START AND STOP THE TOOL

Make sure that the switch is “OFF” and power circuit voltage is the same as that

shown on the specification plate.

1.Connect the tool to the power circuit.

2.Grip the tool firmly to resist starting torque.

3.Slide the switch button (A) Fig. 11

forward to turn the tool “ON”. When

 

released, the switch button will

return to the "OFF" position.

4. To lock the switch in the “ON” position, move the switch to the “ON” position and depress the front end of the switch button (A) Fig. 11. To

release the switch lock, depress the rear end of the switch button.

Allow the tool spindle to stop rotating before putting the tool down.

USING A DISC GRINDER

Be certain that the wheel guard and auxiliary handle are installed.

Firmly grip the auxiliary handle and motor housing (Fig. 12). Lift up the rear of the motor housing so that only the front section of the grinding wheel contacts the work. Use light pressure. Always lift the grinder off the work before starting or stopping the motor. The arrow on the

front gear housing indicates the directionFig. 12 in which the grinding wheel rotates.
