Bandsaw Unit

To install the bandsaw unit onto the stand:

1.Place the bandsaw unit onto the stand as shown in Figure 16. Get help so you do not strain yourself.

2.Line up the holes on the stand with the holes on the bottom of the bandsaw unit.

3.Fasten the stand to the bandsaw unit with the hexagonal shaft and 12" washer as shown in Figure 17.

Sliding Rails

To install the sliding rails:

1.Roll pins should already be in the rails. Line these up to their respective holes in the bandsaw unit as shown in Figure 18.

2.Fit the roll pins inside the holes. If they will not fit, roll the rail over and try the other side. Because the roll pins are slightly flared, they will often only fit on one side.

3.Tap the roll pins down into the holes with a hammer so they are flush with the top sur- face of the rail.

4.Place the 12"-12 x 34" cap screws into the rails and fasten the 12" hex nuts with wash- ers underneath so that the rails are secured to the bandsaw unit.
