Bending Wire
The Model G5771 Slip Roll can be used to shape wires, rods, and
To use the wire grooves:
1.Place your workpiece into the smallest pos- sible groove on the wheel. The three sizes are 5⁄16", 3⁄8", and 1⁄2" (Figure 28).
Example: Suppose you want to bend a piece of 1⁄4" rod. Though it would fit in any of the three grooves, you would use the 5⁄16" groove since it is the smallest possible groove that the rod will fit into.
