Built-in probes. The built-in probes are supplied by Pico Technology and do not change unless you download an authorised update from us. As a safeguard, PicoScope does not allow you to edit or delete these probes. If you want to modify one of them, you can copy it to your library by clicking Duplicate, and then edit the copy in your library.

Adding a new probe to your library

There are three ways to create a new probe:

1.Create a duplicate of an existing probe as described above.

2.Click New Probe... to define a new probe.

3.Click Import to load a probe definition from a *.psprobe file and add it to your library. These files are normally supplied by Pico, but you can also create your own by defining a new probe and then clicking Export.

The second and third methods open the Custom Probe Wizard 28 to guide you through the probe definition process.
