3Inserte el adaptador en la nariz de la herramienta tal y como se de- scribe en “Instalación de brocas”. Disponga la perilla para detención de la rotación en la posición de martilleo con rotación.

4.Presione firmemente el pasador central contra la marca donde se va a perforar, sujete la herramienta firmemente y accione el gatillo (Fig. 7).

NOTA: Si no se dispone del pasador central ni del plato guía, utilice una plantilla o tablero de muescas para iniciar el agujero (Fig. 8).

5.Ya habiendo perforado aproximadamente a la altura de los dientes de la broca de percusión, retire el pasador central y el plato guía de la broca de percusión. Reanude la perforación.

6.Para cambiar la broca de percusión, sostenga la herramienta hacia arriba, apuntando lejos de su cuerpo tal y como se muestra, y accione brevemente el gatillo para aflojar la broca de percusión del adaptador (Fig. 9).

NOTA: Para hacer perforaciones de mayor profundidad, retire la broca de percusión, rompa y retire el cuerpo. Reanude la perforación.
