Installing the Wheel Guard

TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY:

Do not operate this tool without the Wheel Guard properly installed.

1.Using the Hex Wrench (55), loosen the Socket Head Bolt (4) and slide the collar of the Wheel Guard (3) over the rim of the Gear Housing.

2.Rotate the Wheel Guard as needed to shield you during the planned work.

3.Use the Hex Wrench (55) to tighten the Socket Head Bolt securely. Check the Wheel Guard to ensure it is firmly in place. Adjust if necessary before proceeding.

Installing the Auxiliary Handle

TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY:

Do not operate this tool with one hand only or without the Auxiliary Handle properly installed.

1.The Auxiliary Handle (23) may be installed in one of three positions, on either side or on top of the Gear Housing.

2.Screw the threaded end of the Auxiliary Handle into the selected position. Tighten securely before beginning work.
