Drill only as deep as necessary. Do not drill deeper than necessary into walls or other areas where you can- not identify any possible hazards behind the drilling surface.

To reduce jamming as the Bit breaks through the workpiece, decrease the drilling pressure when the point of the Bit breaks through the workpiece.

17.When you have drilled the hole, remove the Bit from the hole while the Cordless Drill is still running. This prevents the Bit from getting caught in the hole and causing damage.

18.Release Trigger to stop the Drill, put

Direction Lever in the center position, and remove the bit from the Drill.

Procedures not specifically explained in this manual must be performed only by a qualified technician.

To prevent serious injury

from accidental operation: Set the Direction Lever (38) to the center locked position and unplug the battery from the tool before performing inspection, maintenance, or cleaning procedures.

Do not use damaged equipment. If abnormal noise or vibration occurs, have the problem corrected before further use.

1.BEFORE EACH USE, inspect the general condition of the tool. Check for loose screws, misalignment or binding of moving parts, cracked or broken parts, damaged electrical wir- ing, and any other condition that may affect its safe operation.

2.After Use, clean external surfaces of the tool with clean cloth.

3.BEFORE EACH USE, inspect the general condition of the Cordless Drill/Driver. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, cracked or broken parts, leaking Battery Pack, damaged Charger wiring, chipped or broken Drill Bits, and any other condi- tion that may affect its safe operation. If abnormal noise or vibration occurs, have the problem corrected before further use.

Do not use damaged equipment.

4.After each use: With a soft brush or cloth, remove all dirt and debris from the Cordless Drill/Driver. Do not im- merse the Cordless Drill/Driver in any liquids.

5.The lithium battery in this tool must be recycled or disposed of properly.
