•Lock the switch trigger on the drillby placingthe direc- t(on of rotation selector in the center position.
•Place the battery pack in the ddlLAlignthe raised rib on the bakery pack wtth the groove Inside the drill
CAUTION: When placing baC_terypaeY,_nthe tool, be sure raised rib on battery pack alignswith the bottom of the ddll and latches into place propedy. Improper installationof the battery pack can _use damage to internalcomponents.
•Make sure the latches on each side of the battery pack snap into place and the battery pack issecwed in the dd[{before beginning operation.

•Locate the latcheson the side of the battery pack and depress to releasethe battery pack fTomthe drill.
•Remove the battery pack from the drill.
