1Log on as the System Administrator.

rpm -qa grep HostExplorer

3.2.5 Installing a 3PAR Host Explorer Agent on Solaris Sparc Systems

To install a 3PAR Host Explorer agent on a Solaris Sparc system:

1Log in as the root user.

2Insert the 3PAR Host Explorer CD into a CD-ROM drive.

3Change to the CD-ROM drive.

4Issue the following command:

#pkgadd -d HostExplorer-sparc.pkg
