Satellite Receiver and VCR/DVR
If you have a satellite receiver and you have a VCR or personal DVR, you can connect them as shown in the following illustration.
NOTE: If your devices have different connectors from those shown, use the highest quality video connections available. Observe the color coding on connectors.
To do this... | Do this... |

Watch satellite channels | Press Source and select Component 1. |

Watch VCR or DVR channels | Press Source and select Video 1. |

Program the remote control to operate these devices | See “Programming for Other Devices” on page 36. |

Use the remote control to operate the satellite receiver | Press Device to select STB. |
|
|
Use the remote control to operate the VCR or DVR | Press Device and select AUX or DVR. |
