Cleaning the cartridge electrical contacts

1- Turn on the printer.

2- Open the top cover. The cartridges should move to the center of the printer.

3- Remove the color cartridge.

4- Locate the copper-colored circuitry strip on the back of the cartridge

5- Using a clean, soft, dry, lint-free cloth. clean the electrical contacts (see Figure 1).

CAUTION: Do not wipe the nozzle plate on the bottom of the cartridge. Wiping the nozzle plate can damage the cartridge (Figure 2).
