10.10 Using the HP Inkjet Toolbox

The HP Inkjet Toolbox contains tools to calibrate the printer, clean the print cartridges, print a test page, and find Web site support information.

Opening the HP Inkjet Toolbox

1.Double-click the Macintosh HD icon on the desktop.

2.Double-click Applications, double-click Utilities, double-click HP, and then double-click HP Printer Selector.

3.Click Local.

4.Select the printer, and then click the Utilities button.

HP Inkjet Toolbox panels

Select the appropriate panel to view HP Inkjet Toolbox options:

•WOW!: Prints a sample page to view the output quality of the printer.

•Test: Prints a test page to confirm communication with printer.

•Clean: Cleans the print cartridges.

•Ink Level: Provides estimated ink levels.
