USB or LPT cable and printer driver required

To change the printer’s wireless settings, you must have the following:

•A notebook or desktop that is connected to the printer with a USB cable.

•The printer driver that has been installed to a USB port.

A USB cable is not required for Bluetooth printing.

USB driver installation

To install a USB printer driver:

1.Insert the Starter CD into the computer’s CD-ROM drive.

2.Follow the onscreen instructions.

To verify that the USB printer driver has been installed:

1.Click Start > Settings > Printers. The Printers window appears.

2.Verify that two versions of the printer driver appear. One version is set to Bluetoooth wireless printing. The other version, hp deskjet 450 printer (Copy 2), is set to the USB port.
