Étendue de la garantie limitée

1.Hewlett-Packard (HP) garantit au client final que les produits HP susmentionnés seront exempts de tout défaut de fabrication imputable à la main-d'œuvre et aux matériaux pendant une période limitée (voir ci-dessus), prenant effet à compter de la date d'achat. Il incombe au client de conserver la preuve de son achat.

2.Pour les logiciels, la garantie limitée de HP s’applique seulement en cas de non exécution des instructions de programmation. HP ne garantit pas le fonctionnement ininterrompu ou sans erreur de ses produits.

3.La garantie HP couvre uniquement les défaillances survenant dans des conditions normales d’utilisation du produit. Cette garantie ne s’applique pas dans les cas suivants :

•Dommages causés par : entretien incorrect ou inadéquat ou modification interdite, transformations, négligence, utilisation non conforme, y compris l'utilisation excessive ou continue pour un affichage public ou des applications publicitaires, exposition à la fumée, à l'humidité, à une quantité importante de poussière ou à des contraintes inhabituelles.

•Logiciel, interface, fournitures, pièces ou support non fournis ou non pris en charge par HP ; ou

•Exploitation non conforme aux caractéristiques techniques.

4.Si, pendant la période de garantie, HP se voit notifier un défaut sur un produit matériel, HP procédera, à sa discrétion, à la réparation ou au remplacement dudit produit.

5.Si HP n’est pas en mesure de réparer ou de remplacer, suivant le cas, le produit défectueux dans un délai raisonnable, HP remboursera le montant du prix d’achat payé pour ce produit.

6.HP n'est pas tenu de réparer, remplacer ou rembourser un produit défectueux tant que le client ne l'a pas retourné à HP.
