Note: The second screw (A) is on the other side of the drive cage (not pictured).

7Pull the diskette drive out. To install a new diskette drive:

1Slide the diskette drive into the drive cage, until the screw holes align.

2Attach the screws on each side of the drive cage.

To reassemble the computer:

1Replace the drive cage (see “Replacing the Drive Cage” on page 20).

2Reattach the cables to the back of the hard and diskette drives.

3Replace the side panel (see “Replacing the Side Panel” on page 23).

4Reconnect the power cord and all other cables.

5Reconnect the modem/phone cable.

6Turn on the computer and all peripherals.

Replacing an Optical Drive

Your computer comes with two optical drives (CD-ROM, DVD, and/or CD-Writer) that you can replace or upgrade.

To remove an existing optical drive:
