“Surround Effects” and “Sound Effects” can also be set by using the [SURROUND] and [SOUND] on the remote control. (> 42)

∫Surround Effects

¾BD/DVD (Multi-ch Source):

	Expand the sound field
3D Cinema	forward, backward, upward,
	right and leftward providing
Surround	a sound with depth and
	force that better matches 3D
	images.
7.1ch Virtual	You can enjoy 6.1/
	7.1-channel surround-like
Surround	effect using 5.1-channel
	speakers.
	You can play any source in
2ch Stereo	stereo. Sound will be output
	to the front speakers and
	the subwoofer only.

¾TV/CD/iPod (2ch Source):

Multi	You can enjoy sound from the
	front speakers, as well as the
Channel Out	surround speakers even when
	playing stereo sources.
Super	You can enjoy sound from

	Centre	You can make the Centre
		channel sound seem like it
	Focus	is coming from within the
		TV.

∫High Clarity Sound

When connected to TV via the HDMI AV OUT terminal for outputting image, it produces clearer sound.
