6.2.2Manage links, history, downloads

To manage a link, phone number or address displayed on a web page

Link

Touch the link to open the web page.

 

Touch and hold the link to open options for further

 

operation, like open in new window, save link, share

 

link, copy link, etc.

Phone number Touch to call the phone number.

Address

Touch to open Google Maps and locate the address

To view Browser history

Touch Menu icon from Browser screen

Touch Bookmarks

Touch History tab to view browser history.

Touch Saved pages to view the pages you saved.

To download a web application/view your downloads

Before downloading a web application, you need to enable your phone to install web applications (touch Menu icon from the Home screen, touch Settings\Security, mark checkbox of Unknown sources, finally touch OK to confirm).

To download a item, touch the item or the link you want to download.

To cancel a download, touch the downloaded item from the Notification panel, select the item to be cancelled, and touch to confirm.

To view items you have downloaded, touch the Application tab, then touch the application Downloads.

Manage bookmarks

To bookmark a web page

Open the web page you want to bookmark.

Touch Menu icon and Save to bookmarks, or from the History screen, touch the star beside the URL.

Enter the name and the location if needed and touch OK to confirm.

To open a bookmark

Touch Menu icon and Bookmarks/History, or touch the icon

and touch to enter the Bookmarks screen.

Touch the bookmark you want to open.

You can also touch and hold to display the options screen, then touch Open or Open in new window.

To edit a bookmark

Touch Menu icon and Bookmarks, or touch the icon and touch to enter the Bookmarks screen.

Touch and hold the bookmark you want to edit.

Touch Edit bookmark, and enter your changes.

When finished, touch OK to confirm.
