11.3Sound

Use the Sound settings to configure many aspects of call and notification ringtones, music, and other audio settings.

•Silent mode Mark the checkbox to silence all sounds except media & alarms.

•Headset mode Mark the checkbox to enable that ringtone will only be heard in the headset if it is plugged in.

• Volume	Touch to set volume for Incoming call, Media
	and Alarm.

•Phone ringtone Touch to set your default incoming call ringtone.

•Phone vibrate Touch to access phone vibrate options.

•Notification Touch to set your default notification ringtone. ringtone

•Audible touch Mark the checkbox to enable playing tones when

tones using dial pad.

•Audible selection Mark the checkbox to enable playing sound when making screen selection.

•Screen lock sounds Mark the checkbox to enable playing sounds when locking and unlocking the screen.

•Haptic feedback Mark the checkbox to activate vibration when pressing soft keys and on certain UI interactions.

•Power on/off Touch to set your default power on ringtone. ringtone

•Orientation Mark the checkbox to activate automatic orientation switch when rotating phone.

• Animation	Touch to select whether to show some, all or no
	animations.
• Brightness	Touch to adjust the brightness of the screen.

•Screen timeout Touch to set screen timeout.

•HDMI display Touch to enable HDMI display function.

11.5Location & security

Use the Location & Security settings to set your preferences for using and sharing your location when your search for information and use location- aware applications, such as Google Maps. You can also configure settings that help secure your phone and its data.

11.5.1My Location

Use wireless networks

Mark the checkbox to use information from Wi-Fi and mobile networks to determine your approximate location, for use in Google Maps, when you search, and so on. When you select this option, you’re asked whether you consent to sharing your location anonymously with Google’s location service.
