4.1.3Adjust message settings

You can adjust a set of message settings. From Messaging application screen, touch Menu icon and touch Settings.

Storage settings
• Delete old	Select to delete old messages when the maximum
messages	number of stored messages is reached.

•Text message limit Touch to set the number of text messages to be saved per conversation.

• Multimedia	Touch to set the number of multimedia messages
message limit	to be saved per conversation.

Text (SMS) Message settings

•Delivery reports Select to request a delivery report for each text message you send.

• Manage SI	Touch to manage text messages stored on your
messages	SIM card.

•Message template Touch to add or edit message templates.

•SMS Service Touch to edit or view the service center number.

Center

•SMS storage Touch to select phone or SIM card to store

location messages.

•Validity period Touch to select the validity period, during that period, the network provider will try to send the message.

Multimedia (MMS) Message settings

•Delivery reports Select to request a delivery report for each multimedia message you send.

•Auto-retrieveSelect to download the full MMS message (including message body and attachment) automatically to your phone. Otherwise, download only the MMS message header.

•Roaming auto- Select to download the full MMS message

•Cell broadcast Touch to enable receipt of cell broadcast messages.

•Select CB ringtone Touch to select CB ringtone when receive cell broadcast messages.
