8 Multimedia applications

8.1 Camera/Camcorder...................................

Your mobile phone is fitted with a Camera and a Camcorder for taking photos and shooting videos.

Before using the Camera or Camcorder, please ensure that a microSD card where all pictures and videos are stored is correctly installed. Also, be sure to open the protective lens cover before use to avoid it affecting your picture quality.

To access this function, touch Application tab from the Home screen and then touch Camera.

To shoot a video

Switch Camera mode toVideo mode. First position the object or landscape in the viewfinder, and touch icon to start recording.Touch icon to stop recording.The video will be automatically saved.

Further operations when viewing a picture/video you have taken

•Touch the icon then gmail, Bluetooth, MMS, etc to share the photo or video you have taken.

•Touch the icon to access Gallery.

•Touch the Back key to return to Camera or Camcorder.

8.1.1Settings in framing mode

Before taking a photo/shooting a video, touch the icon you can adjust a number of settings in framing mode.

Touch to show settings

Touch the screen to set a focus.

Touch to switch between Camera and Video mode.

Touch to switch between front/back camera.

Touch to turn on/off flash mode.

Drag up and down to zoom in/out.

Touch to view pictures or videos you have taken.

Touch to take a picture or record a video. Touch & hold to focus.

Camera settings

• Exposure

Touch to adjust the value of exposure.

•White balance Touch to adjust color in different lights: Auto, Incandescent, Daylight, Fluorescent or Cloudy.

• Scene mode	Touch to adjust the scene: Auto, Action, etc.
• Store location	Touch to turn on/off stored location information
	of pictures by using the phone's GPS.
• Picture size	Touch to set the size of picture.

• Shutter Sound	Touch to turn on/off shutter sound.
• Restore defaults	Touch and confirm to restore camera default
	settings.

To take a picture

The screen acts as the viewfinder. First position the object or landscape in the viewfinder, touch the screen to focus if necessary, touch icon to take the picture which will be automatically saved.
