Advanced BIOS Features

Anti-Virus Protection

The item is to set the Virus Warning feature for IDE Hard Disk boot sector protection. If the function is enabled and any attempt to write data into this area is made, BIOS will display a warning message on the screen and beep. Settings: Enabled and Disabled.

CPU Internal Cache

Cache memory is additional memory that is much faster than the system memory. This item allows you to enable or disable the level 1 (L1) cache. the internal cache is built in the processor. Available settings: Disabled and Enabled.

External Cache

This item allows you to enable or disable the level 2 (L2) cache. Available options: Disabled, Enabled.

CPU L2 Cache ECC Checking

This allows you to enable or disable the ECC (Error-Correcting Code) feature to check the data when it passes through L2 cache memory. Settings are Enabled and Disabled.
