AIMING THE SENSOR.

Loosen the clamp screw in

the sensor ball joint.

Walk through the cover- age area noting when the lights turn on. Gently move the sensor head up, down, or sideways to change the coverage area. Wait 5 to 10 seconds after light turns off to retest.

Increase sensitivity only as needed. Too much sensi- tivity will cause false trigger- ing and reduce battery life.

Secure the sensor head into position by tighten- ing the clamp screw. Do not overtighten the screw.

After dark, adjust the light to cover desired area.

Place the sensor switch in AUTO for normal opera- tion. If the light is not needed, put the switch in the OFF position.

Plug the solar panel cable into the bottom of the battery case. Allow the battery to charge with three days of sunshine before testing.

TEST AND ADJUSTMENT

Slide the sensor switch to the TEST (center) position.

Avoid aiming the control at:

Objects that change temperature rapidly, such as heating vents and air conditioners. These heat sources could cause false triggering.

Areas where pets or traffic may trigger the control.

Nearby large, light-colored objects reflecting light may trigger the shut-off feature. Do not point other lights at the sensor.
