The normal sounds are:

You will hear the sound of the pump and motor operating.
During draining
You will hear the sound of water draining from the sink.

Acrylic is a renewable surface. If the acrylic surface is damaged, minor cuts or scratches usually can be buffed or polished out of the finish with a paste wax or automobile rubbing compound.
To clean your jetted sink:
■Clean the acrylic surface with a mild, liquid detergent and a damp cloth or sponge. Rinse and wipe dry with a soft cloth.
■Do not use abrasive cleaners such as scouring cleansers or harsh cleaning tools such as scouring pads. These can scratch or damage materials.
To flush your jetted sink:
Flush the jetted sink at least once every 90 days.
