SECTION 6: MAINTENANCE

Always DISCONNECT POWER before servicing, adjusting, or doing maintenance to reduce the risk of accidental injury or electrocution.
Never submerge tool in liquid or clean with flammable solvents. Electrocution or fire may result, causing serious injury or death.
Schedule
For optimum performance from your multi- tool, follow this maintenance schedule and refer to any specific instructions given in this section.
Daily Check:
•Loose mounting bolts.
•Worn switch.
•Worn or damaged cord.
•Any other unsafe condition.
Cleaning
Cleaning the Model T25227 is relatively easy and should be done daily to prevent build up of dust and resins.
Use an air hose or vacuum to remove excess wood chips and dust from the ven- tilation openings (see Figure 15).
Use a dry rag to wipe off the remaining dust and debris from the tool flange and any accessories used.
