Preventing Access to Your Phone Settings

You can block access to some of your phone’s preference settings, so that they will not be changed by anyone else.

Preventing Access to the Memory Registers

You can prevent the memory registers from being dialled or changed (phone numbers and names stored in memory).

Example: You wish to keep your personal data confidential.

In Standby mode, press MENU to

 

enter the menu system.

 

Result: The first menu appears.

Press 6, 4 to access the Memory

 

sub-menu option.

 

Result: Password ? appears.

Result: The first menu appears.

2.Press 6, 5 to access the SIM Memory sub-menu option.

Result: Password ? appears.

blocked.

If you try and access the memory

of phone, Memory Blocked

is displayed.

Result: The memory register settings are blocked.

If you try and access this function, SIM Memory Blocked is displayed.

6. To exit the menu system, press / I .

To unblock the function settings, repeat Steps 1 to 5, selecting OFF instead of ON in Step 4.
