Apart from these options, there also is a Factory Reset option available that is used to reverse any unnecessary changes being made by the user knowingly/unknowingly. It replaces the main settings and configuration files in the system with the default files that were present at the time of installing the OS.
Upgrade
It is used to upgrade the STC OS. During the upgradation, the user preferences and other critical changes made by the user while operating the old OS are preserved and are made effective in the upgraded OS.
Firmware can be upgraded over following protocols

zNFS
The different protocols used here provide different methods of accessing the firmware upgrade files present over the network. The upgrade function disables all other functions of the STC, so before starting the upgrade utility, the user is supposed to quit all other work that is under progress and save all the settings that is wished to be retained after the upgrade. For this, a warning message is popped up. On selecting OK in this dialog box, the upgrade process starts, else the upgrade process is cancelled.
Upgrade Using HTTP
