Using Smart Station

2.Right click on the network device of the Smart Station monitor (displayed as LAN9512/ LAN9514 USB 2.0 to Ethernet 10/100 Adapter), and select Enable.

NOTE

This process must be done before IP configuration.

3.Enter the static IP address assigned to the network device of the Smart Station monitor.

NOTE

To enter the static IP address, go to Control Panel Network and Internet Network and Sharing Center Change adapter settings. Select the network device of the Smart Station monitor (displayed as LAN9512/LAN9514 USB 2.0 to Ethernet 10/100 Adapter). Right-click on your mouse. Select Properties. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4). Select Properties. Configure the static IP and DNS settings.

4.After setting the IP, click OK. When the following message appears, click No.

NOTE

A static IP address is assigned to a single network device. The above message appears when the same static IP address is assigned to both the LAN network device on your PC (disabled) and the network device of the Smart Station monitor. Ensure the network device you are not using is set to Disable.

To use the LAN network on your PC, change the settings accordingly:

Set the network device of the Smart Station monitor to Disable. Enable the network device on the PC. Configure the IP.

5.Click the Close button.
