The following sections describe how to configure the display settings on your computer.

Selecting a Monitor Type

When you attach an external monitor to your computer, Windows Me automatically selects display settings for it. If you wish, you can adjust the display settings by selecting a monitor type:

1.Click Start > Settings > Control Panel.

2.Double-Click icon. The Display Properties window appears.

3.Click the Settings tab. The Settings screen appears.

4.Click the Advanced button. The Advanced Properties screen appears.

5.Click the Monitor tab.
