2. Prepare el sitio

¡IMPORTANTE! Seleccione un material de la pared que sea resistente al agua (tal como paneles de cemento) que cumpla con los códigos locales de construcción.

Instale el material de la pared a toda el área de la ducha, incluyendo el encajonado de postes de madera.

NOTA: Tenga presente que la longitud de la columna es 60″ (152,4 cm) al determinar la altura deseada.

Determine la posición vertical deseada de la columna en el encajonado de postes de madera, luego trace una marca de lápiz en la base de la columna.

Desde el punto marcado, trace un rectángulo de 60″ (152,4 cm) de altura y 5-1/8″ (13 cm) de ancho.

Verifique que el perímetro trazado esté a plomo y a nivel.

Con una sierra caladora eléctrica, con cuidado corte a lo largo de las líneas del perímetro marcado para quitar el material de pared.
