Displays the currently confi gured POS device, with entry add and, update, delete options. Add: Use to add a POS device to the list. Update: Use to update the information of a

registered POS device.

Del: Use to delete a POS devices information from the list.

2pOS Settings

Name: Enter an appropriate name for the POS Device.

POS ID: Select the ID of the POS device connected to the DVR (1 through 16).

Linked Camera: Select the camera channel with the video feed you wish to store along with POS data received from the POS device.

POS Format: Select the type of POS device or the text inserter.

3port Setup

Confi gure the settings to allow communication between POS device and DVR.

Port: Select which DVR port the POS device is connected.

mode: Select which interfacing type that the POS is using.

Speed: Select a baudrate (2400Bps - 115200Bps) for communication between the POS device and the DVR.

Parity: Select the bit type (None, Odd, or Even) for detecting data transmission errors.

Data Bits: Select from 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8.

Stop Bits: Select from 1, 1.5, and 2.

Display OSD: Enable or disable live screen display of product information transmitted

through the POS device.

Display Time: Designate how many seconds you wish OSD data to be displayed on the DVR’s live screen after product barcode gets scanned. If new product information is received, the information on the DVR screen will update itself.

Display Cam: Select the camera channel on which to display the information received from the POS device.

5Transaction wait

Wait Time: Confi gure how many minutes to wait until the next product information can be entered when the barcode reader temporarily stops working while scanning a product. While in standby mode, information of the previous product will be automatically deleted if no new product information is entered or the barcode scan termination button is not pressed.

6Select hDD for pOS Database

Select on the system which HDD will be used to store the POS data.

POS Database: The POS database must be keep separate from the DVR system drives. Do not use the operating system or recording database HDD to store the POS data.
