6. Turn on the water supply and ensure that no water leaks

from the water valve, tap or adaptor. If there is a water

leaks, repeat the previous steps.

Do not use your washing machine if there is a water leak.

WARNING This may cause electric shock or injury.

If the water tap has a screw type tap, connect the water supply hose to the tap as shown.

SETTING UP

Use the most conventional type of tap for the water supply. In case the tap is square or too big, remove the spacing ring before inserting the tap into the adaptor.

Water pipe must be protected with an appropriate “Family E” device (single check valve) at the point of connection of the hose to the supplying pipework.

An ‘Approved’ single check valve or some other no less effective backfl ow prevention device shall be fi tted at the point of connection(s) between the supply and the fi tting. Usage of materials that meet EU legislation for electrics, and WRAS approval for the check valve is highly recommended.

If an installer chooses not to follow our instructions then the warranty maybe becomes invalid.
