Planning battery consumption

Manage your battery consumption by setting how the device will utilise your device’s remaining battery power.

The following features may not be available depending on the region or service provider.

Reserve battery mode

Save the battery power by reserving it for calls and messages. In reserve battery mode, you can use only the Phone and Messages apps.

To use reserve battery power mode, open the Home screen, tap Apps Settings Battery

Reserve battery for calls, and then tap the switch to activate it. Then, drag the bar to set the amount of battery power reserved for calls and messages. When your battery power reaches the preset level, the device will alert you and activate reserve battery mode.

To deactivate reserve battery mode, tap MORE Disable Reserve battery for calls.

Extending the battery life

Extend the battery life by automatically activating ultra power saving mode when the battery reaches a certain percentage.

On the Home screen, tap Apps Settings Battery Extend battery time, tap the switch to activate it, and then select a level.

Forwarding calls

Set the device to forward incoming calls to a preset phone number when the device turns off due to low battery power.

On the Home screen, tap Apps Settings Battery Fwd calls when no battery, and then tap the switch to activate it. Tap ENTER NUMBER or CONTACTS and add a phone number or contact. To send a message to notify the contact or number that your calls will be forwarded to them, tick Auto send text message.

Make sure that your service provider supports call forwarding.

You may incur additional charges when using this feature.
