Cooking Guide

MICROWAVES

Microwave energy actually penetrates food, attracted and absorbed by its water, fat and sugar content.

The microwaves cause the molecules in the food to move rapidly. The rapid movement of these molecules creates friction and the resulting heat cooks the food.

COOKING

Cookware for microwave cooking:

Cookware must allow microwave energy to pass through it for maximum efficiency. Microwaves are reflected by metal, such as stainless steel, aluminium and copper, but they can penetrate through ceramic, glass, porcelain and plastic as well as paper and wood. So food must never be cooked in metal containers.

Food suitable for microwave cooking:

Many kinds of food are suitable for microwave cooking, including fresh or frozen vegetables, fruit, pasta, rice, grains, beans, fish, and meat. Sauces, custard, soups, steamed puddings, preserves, and chutneys can also be cooked in a microwave oven. Generally speaking, microwave cooking is ideal for any food that would normally be prepared on a hob. Melting butter or chocolate, for example (see the chapter with tips, techniques and hints).

Covering during cooking

To cover the food during cooking is very important, as the evaporated water rises as steam and contributes to cooking process. Food can be covered in different ways: e.g. with a ceramic plate, plastic cover or microwave suitable cling film.

Standing times

After cooking is over food the standing time is important to allow the temperature to even out within the food.

Cooking Guide for frozen vegetables

Use a suitable glass pyrex bowl with lid. Cook covered for the minimum time - see table. Continue cooking to get the result you prefer.

Stir twice during cooking and once after cooking. Add salt, herbs or butter after cooking. Cover during standing time.

The Samsung CE107V/XEH and CE107V-B/XEO are versatile microwave ovens designed to enhance the cooking experience with their advanced technology and user-friendly features. These models combine functional design with innovative technology, making them suitable for both busy households and culinary enthusiasts.

One of the standout features of the Samsung CE107V series is its powerful microwave output. With a power rating of up to 1000 watts, users can enjoy faster cooking times and more evenly cooked meals. The microwave offers multiple power levels, allowing users to customize cooking settings for different types of food, ensuring optimal results.

The ceramic enamel interior of the Samsung CE107V models is both practical and hygienic. This material not only makes cleaning easy, but it is also scratch-resistant and prevents the absorption of food odors and stains. As a result, maintaining a clean and odor-free microwave is simple, enhancing the overall cooking experience.

Another significant advantage is the eco mode feature, which helps reduce energy consumption. When activated, this function puts the microwave in a low-power standby state when not in use, contributing to energy savings and reducing unnecessary electrical costs.

Samsung has also included smart sensing technology, which automatically adjusts cooking time and power based on the moisture and temperature of the food. This ensures that meals are cooked to perfection without the guesswork, providing a convenient solution for reheating leftovers or cooking from scratch.

The user-friendly interface with easy-to-read buttons and a clear display enhances usability, making it simple for anyone to operate the appliance. Additionally, various pre-set cooking modes are tailored for specific food items like pizza, vegetables, and defrosting, offering further convenience.

Furthermore, the compact design of these models makes them ideal for kitchens with limited space. Despite their reduced footprint, they do not compromise on capacity, allowing ample cooking space for various meals.

In summary, the Samsung CE107V/XEH and CE107V-B/XEO models stand out for their powerful performance, easy maintenance, energy efficiency, and smart technology, making them a great choice for anyone looking to simplify their cooking processes while enjoying the benefits of modern microwave technology.
