OPERATING THE APPLIANCE
1Fit the hose to the cleaner by inserting the hose connector Ì into the hose inlet fi and
turning it

To remove, turn clockwise.
2Attach the metal telescopic tube Á to the hose handle Ó.
Extend the telescopic tube to the required
length by pressing down the tube release button Ë and pulling out the tube B.

3Attach the combination floor nozzle Î to the telescopic tube C.

Use the brush height adjustment switch Ï to switch between two positions:
•Brush up for carpets, rugs etc.
•Brush down for hard floors, tiles etc.
4Pull out the power cable ‰ to its full length and plug in to the mains supply. A yellow mark on the power cable indicates the recommended cable length. Do not pull out the cable beyond the red mark.
5Switch on by pressing the On/Off button ‚. To switch off, press the On/Off button again.
6After use, unplug and press the automatic cable rewind button · to retract the power cable.
WARNING: When using the automatic cable rewind button, always hold the plug as the power cable will rewind quickly.
Using & cleaning the turbo
nozzle (certain models only)
When vacuuming pet hair, stairs and upholstery, attach the turbo nozzle Ú to either the hose handle Ó or the telescopic tube Á as described in ‘Operating the appliance’.
IMPORTANT: Do not use the turbo nozzle on suede and leather surfaces.
Following use, hair or fibres may become wrapped around the brush bar, reducing the performance. To remove:
1Switch the vacuum cleaner off and disconnect the power plug ‰ from the electrical outlet.
2Lay the turbo nozzle on a flat surface and turn over to expose the brush bar.
3Using a pair of scissors, carefully cut through
any threads or hairs wrapped around the brush bar D.

Fan cover
If large particles are picked up, they may become trapped in the turbo fan and stall the brush bar. Open the fan cover to remove the trapped item.
