•In the USA, the appliance must be derated 4% for every 1,000 ft above 2,000 ft elevations.

•In Canada, these appliances are certiﬁed for altitudes of 0 – 2000 ft, and must be de-rated by 10 percent for installations between 2000 and 4,500 ft. (derate an additional 4% for every 1,000 ft. above 4,500 ft. elevations).
