Unit won’t run

SOLUTION

l Make sure the power cord is

Unit blows house- hold fuses or trips circuit breaker

Unit turns off and on OR Unit does not cool/heat room

plugged into a live circuit with the

l Replace household fuse or reset the circuit breaker.

. Make sure the System Control IS not set to OFF.

. In case of local power failure, wait for power to be restored.

l Replace household fuse with a time-delay fuse of the correct capacity,

lDo not use an extension cord with this or any other appliance.

lWait at least 3 minutes after turning unit off to turn it on again

lClean the filter. l Clean the coils

l Use exhaust/venting fans to reduce room heat.

lSet System Control to a hrgher fan speed.

lSet Thermostat to a higher number.

lNo usar un cable de extension con este ni ningun otro artefacto electrico.

lEsperar por lo menos 3 minutos despues de apagar el acondicionador de aire para volverlo a poner en marcha.

lDroplets of water hitting the condenser, causing a “pinging” or “clicking” sound. Water droplets help cool the condenser.

lAir movement from the fan - especially on HI fan speed settings.

lClicks from the cooling cycle.
