PROGRAMMING YOUR THERMOSTAT

Now you are ready to program your thermostat. This section will help you plan and program your thermostat to meet your needs.

•When heating (cooling) your building, pro- gram the temperatures to be cooler (warmer) when the building is vacant or during peri- ods of low activity.

•During early morning hours, the need for cooling is usually minimal.

First, answer the following questions to help you decide what your needs are. If you are using the thermostat for a commercial application (a store, office building, etc.), answer questions 1 through
