!CAUTION

Never use with detergents and/or soapy water in the water tank. Using the Steam Vacuum other than as recommended in this manual could damage the unit and void the warranty.

Your SV-60 Steam Vacuum combines the suction of a high-powered vacuum with the optimal germ-killing power of a steam cleaning floor sanitizer – to thoroughly clean your floors without two separate machines. Use each function separately, or simultaneously.

14)In order to use the Vacuum and Steam function simultaneously you need to be sure there is water in the tank. Follow the filling instructions as outlined in steps 4 & 5 on page 10.

15)Set the SV-60 upright on the Resting Mat.

16)With the unit sitting on the Resting Mat, plug your unit into a grounded receptacle. The POWER light will light up RED to indicate that the power is ON. (Fig15)

17)Press the STEAM and VACUUM button on the center control to start the dual function. Pressing BOTH will light up the STEAM (Orange) and the VACUUM (Green) indicator lights. (Fig 16.)

18)Leave the unit on the Resting Pad for the time (under 1 minute)it takes for the unit to be ready to steam. The unit is ready when you see sweating on the surface of the Resting Mat and steam being emitted from the bottom of the SV-60.

13)You are now ready to vacuum any surface in your home and sanitize them at the same time. Move the unit back and forth over the area to be vacuumed and sanitized. (Fig 17)

Adding Water During Use:

14)Turn power OFF.

15)If the Steam function has been used, allow the unit to cool down before proceeding, for approximately 5 minutes.

!CAUTION

The SV-60 emits steam at 212°F to sanitize the area of use. This means that the tray gets very hot during use. Care should be taken when using this appliance and DO NOT touch the tray during use. Allow the tray to cool before removing.

16)To add water, follow steps 4-5 on page 10 and refer to Fig. 3-5b on the same page.

17)After filling the water tank, set the SV-60 upright on the Resting Mat.

18)Plug the unit in and proceed to use the unit as described in the instructions for the function you choose.
