Weekly Testing of Your CO Alarm

It is important to test your CO Alarm weekly and after you replace the SensorPack® Module. Push the Test/Silence (Test/Reset) button on the cover until a continuous alarm sounds. It should last for 5-20 seconds. If the unit ever fails to test properly, replace it immediately.

DO NOT stand close to the unit when the unit is sounding. Exposure at close range may be harmful to your hearing. When testing, step away when the unit starts sounding.

The Test/Silence (Test/Reset) button is the only proper way to test the unit. NEVER use vehicle exhaust! Exhaust causes permanent damage and voids your warranty.

If the unit does not test properly:

1.Make sure the SensorPack® Module is inserted correctly.

2.Be sure the unit is clean and dust-free.

3.Replace the SensorPack® Module and test the unit again.

If there is still a problem, do not try to fix the CO Alarm yourself. This voids your warranty. If the unit is not working properly, refer to the “Limited Warranty” at the end of this manual, or call our Consumer Affairs Department at 1-800-323-9005.

What To Do If Your CO Alarm Sounds

Actuation of this device indicates the presence of CO which can be fatal.

DO NOT RE-ENTER THE PREMISES until the Fire Department says the air is clear. Have the problem corrected immediately!

If no one exhibits symptoms of discomfort associat- ed with carbon monoxide poisoning, simply:
